The Diabetes Research Center provides core services in four areas of research:
The Advance Tissue Pathology and Imaging Core provides a spectrum of advanced cellular and tissue pathology and imaging services that meet the needs of diabetes researchers at Columbia University.
Flow Cytometry is an important tool in quantifying and phenotyping the cells that define pathways relevant to diabetes.
The investigators of the Diabetes Research Center employ many murine models to study diabetes and its complications.
The Translational Biomarker Analytical Core makes available to Diabetes Research Center investigators a variety of high quality radioimmunoassay and other analyses critical to investigators.
